Used as a healing remedy oil by ancient Egyptians and Mayans, cold-pressed rosehip seed oil is breaking into the market with swiftness and is all the rage lately. And this makes complete sense- it does wonders for the skin!

The Ordinary’s formulation of this oil is made up of 100% pure, cold-pressed, and organic rosehip seed oil and comes at almost half the cost of many other rosehip seed oils on the market. This formulation is free of fillers, vegan, and is also a cruelty, water, alcohol, silicone, and nut free. If you are going with another brand, we’d say that it is imperative to find one that is still cold-pressed. The game changers of rosehip seed oil; linoleic acid, vitamin A, and vitamin C, are only preserved through the elimination of heat in the oil extraction process.

Let’s break it down with some benefits:

Rosehip seed oil is known to even out the complexion, hydrate, soothe, and reduce scars and fine lines over time. It works on a cellular level to nourish the skin, prompt regeneration, and restore elasticity, all while protecting against environmental stressors like the sun and pollution. It is even said that the fatty acids in rosehip seed oil are known to soothe and heal eczema flare-ups. Basically…we love it.

Recommended use: gently pat onto your face before bed to wake up glowing. Feel free to use a few drops in your bath so you can soak in the goodness too!

Wishing y’all a love filled week ahead, and a glowing inside and outside! And remember, we’re not doctors…so don’t try to come for us.

Ble$$ up,

Janu & Nicole
